My favourite is the beginning scene you have where he's loading the rifle and the bird is signing. I can picture it being really sinister music while he's loading the gun and really happy and peaceful music while the bird is singing.
lol.. Amazing storyboards Brock! I really love your sense of humour, pacing, and storytelling. Your boards are really clear and easy to read. I'm really impressed ^^. Storyboarding is one of the things I really want to work on improving.. hehe.. maybe I can pick up some pointers from you some time X3!!
The reaction scene of the ant is great! You could get some cool pans going on there.
Another way you could have done it is the ant's first reaction could be curiosity when he sees the gun, but then he sees the dove, and puts 2 and 2 together, and then takes.
I really liked the opening scene too, with the singing/gun-loading. Cool and funny idea!
Awesome, storyboard! The drawings are comical! It was really fun to read! Your stuff is always great. =]
Thanks everybody! This was a fun assignment, defintley one of my favorites this year. It was easy for me to get into it. Jinny my best advice is to watch lots of funny cartoons and steal what works from the best! Mitch, I was thinking also of 3 or 4 quick pans back and forth between the tree and the hunter, like its taking the ant a little more time to proccess the info. Your idea is another way I can try it! If I carry this further to the leica reel stage this summer I'll try it a couple of different ways.
Hi, Great job! It's nice to see some inspiration work from fellow animation students. You're doing great, I'd love to see your flower sack animation when you are complete =p.

I suppose there's a lot of different ways to pull off that scene. It's such a hilarious idea. I'd love to see that leica reel, if you get 'er done!
I also forgot to say last time that I love when your dove first whips her head around to wink at the ant. That drawing is really funny!
That's awesome Brock!
